When we wandered around the corner to Ryan Street it was like OMG!!! We couldn't believe our eyes. Our corner shop was drowning and there was a lake instead of a street. What made the whole thing feel so strange was it was an absolutely glorious morning and apart from the flotsam floating in the water it was quite a beautiful scene in a surreal kind of way. I found a great clip of some people kayaking down this street.
